In this case, people are be able to exchange cards for in-game items.
My contributions in this project were:
-
Created and polished the cards collection animation when opening a new card pack.
-
Integrated the mechanics to inspect and admire the cards with their VFX.
-
Developed most of the card inspection screen UI following Halfbrick+ standards.
Date: June, 2025 - November, 2025.

Jetpack Joyride Racing
PROJECT SUMMARY
A 3D real-time multiplayer racing game made for iOS and Android by Halfbrick.
The objective of the game is to race bots and real people in a 6-person race through several tracks while mastering each curve to boost as much as possible.
I was a key contributor in this high-visibility mobile title, serving as a main programmer in a cross-functional 18-person team (4 programmers, 10 artists, 3 audio engineers, and 3 managers).
I started in a small team by modernizing a legacy C++ codebase from Mortar (Aero Racer / Rocket Racing) into Unity. Then, we used Photon Fusion 2 to implement real-time multiplayer networking while using a scalable Finite State Machine architecture to ensure seamless game flow.
My contributions to this project were:
-
Gameplay & Systems: Designed two of the four launch tracks (not the props, only the track), built garage customization mechanics (UI & VFX), integrated race replay/recording features, improved game feel and core mechanics, VFX, and tutorialization.
-
Platform & Social Integration: Embedded the proprietary Halfbrick+ friends system, enabling real-time private matchmaking, challenges, and friend management.
-
UI/UX & Engine Pipeline: Programmed core GUIs, spearheaded bug fixing and QA across builds, and collaborated directly with the art team to integrate assets seamlessly from concept to runtime.
